Hygiene Education is a Logical Choice
Proper oral hygiene helps promote a healthy life, and we generally recommend patients schedule a checkup every six months. Performing a professional cleaning, periodontal and restorative assessment and x-rays (if necessary) helps your teeth retain their functionality and strength. Galleria Dental also provides the tools and knowledge necessary to maintain your oral hygiene in between visits.
Gum Health: Be Aware
It can be difficult to assess on your own whether your gingival tissue (gums) are in optimal condition. An estimated 75% of Americans experience some form of gum disease in their lives, and the majority them are unaware of poor gum health. Improving the status of your gums can also reduce the risk of other diseases. We complete a full examination and assessment of your gum tissue and can set you on a path to attain optimal gum health.
Excellent Children’s Dentistry
Start your child on a path to healthy teeth and brighter smiles by bringing them to Galleria for a checkup beginning around 3 years of age. Your child’s first “happy visit” is complementary at that age. Offering dental services for toddlers, children, and teens, we want to educate and encourage your child to maintain healthy oral practices from the start.
Visiting the dentist helps instill a positive association with your child and dental assessments. As soon as their first teeth start to show, begin the brushing process. We look forward to building a relationship with your children and promoting a lifetime of wonderful oral health.
Dental Implants: a Modern Alternative to Missing Teeth
Not only are missing teeth unfavorable to appearance, they may also lead to a variety of oral health problems. Dental implants are a successful solution to tooth replacements, and are an alternative to bridges or appliances. Once the implants are placed into the bone by an oral surgeon, Dr. Hale and his staff are highly experienced in fitting the prosthetic replacement teeth to look and perform like original, healthy teeth.
Dr. Eric Tolliver is highly experienced in both placing and restoring dental implants. They are a great option for replacing missing teeth, and can perform like original, healthy teeth. Implants are also a great option for stabilizing loose dentures.
Crowns and Bridges Can Boost Confidence and Health.
When a tooth becomes structurally unsound due to cracking or too many fillings, crowns can make a tooth functional again. Bridges are also a restoration measure, which help both the esthetic and functional qualities of your oral health. They replace extracted or decaying teeth, revitalize appearance and help protect against future decay or infection. These procedures also assist in eliminating discomfort in your bite, allowing you to eat, talk, and laugh without feeling soreness or being self-conscious.
Invisalign: a Modern Approach to Strengthening Teeth
Invisalign® takes a modern approach to straightening teeth, using a custom-made series of aligners created for you and only you. These aligner trays are made of smooth, comfortable and virtually invisible plastic that you wear over your teeth. Wearing the aligners will gradually and gently shift your teeth into place, based on the exact movements your dentist or orthodontist plans out for you. There are no metal brackets to attach and no wires to tighten. You just pop in a new set of aligners approximately every two weeks, until your treatment is complete. You’ll achieve a great smile with little interference in your daily life. The best part about the whole process is that most people won’t even know you’re straightening your teeth.
